Training your Training Team:

Working with your Internal Training Staff:

There may be a number of good reasons why you may want to have your own internal training team facilitate training content created by a third party, such as MetrixINSPIRE, including:

  • You need to train multiple groups concurrently and you want the flexibility of not having to coordinate the scheduling of external trainers
  • You want to be able to train the content whenever it is needed, not when it is convenient for an external organization
  • You want someone familiar with your corporate culture to provide the training

How the Train-the-Trainer program works:

Program Outline:

  • Sharing training material

We will provide all relevant training content including instructor notes to your trainers

  • Meeting with your trainers to go over specific instructions

We will go over some of the following:

  • Learning objectives
  • Learning activities that are part of the training
  • Delivery methods
  • Timing
  • Additional materials needed
  • Specific considerations that trainers need to be aware of
  • Making accommodations based on your needs

When necessary, we will make adjustments based on feedback from your trainers. This could include adding or changing proposed learning activities. At the end of the day, you know your team better than anyone else!

  • Being available during pre-training

We want to ensure your trainers are fully comfortable with the material and confident in delivering it as intended. We will be available leading up to the delivery of the training to answer questions and provide guidance.

  • Trainer Certification (for select content)

We license some training content to our clients. When your training staff delivers such training courses for the first time, we typically are in silent attendance to ensure everything goes as intended and to provide feedback. Upon completion of the training, we will certify your trainers to allow them to facilitate this content moving forward.
